THE ALFEE(メンバー: 坂崎 幸之助・桜井 賢)のリーダーでVO.EG担当。THE ALFEEの楽曲のほとんどは、高見沢の作品のものであり、他アーティストへも数多くの作品を提供している。ここ数年、TV番組のメイン司会・レギュラー出演・ラジオ番組のDJ等を務めたり、絵本「ぼくの海へ～シロイルカのベルーガ」（絵：くろだこうじ／文：高見沢俊彦：平凡社　）、また、初の自伝的エッセイ「あきらめない夢は終わらない」（幻冬舎）を出版する等、多方面で活躍している。
2009年5月にリリースした、THE ALFEE 57枚目のシングル（Double A-Side Single）「桜の実の熟する時／風の詩」は、オリコンベスト10入り連続42作品という記録を更新した。
THE ALFEEのコンサートツアーでは、2005年11月30日、大宮ソニックシティ公演にてライブ通算2,000本を迎え、現在もライブ本数を更新中。
今年THE ALFEEはデビュー35周年を迎え、2009年4月より始まった『THE ALFEE 35th Anniversary 2009 CONFIDENCE 』ツアーは、4/9（木）川口リリアメインホール～6/28（日）名古屋国際会議場センチュリーホールまでの全31公演を行う。
また、ソロ活動においては、2007年・2008年と音楽業界にとどまらない多彩なアーティストたちとのコラボレーションで、シングルおよびアルバムの発売やソロコンサートツアーを行い、話題を呼ぶ。
そして、今年2009年もソロプロジェクトを敢行。8月12日Double A-Side Single「VAMPIRE～誘惑のBlood～ / ヤッターマンの歌」 をリリース、そして 9月5日・6日渋谷C.C.Lemonホール、9月13日 Zepp Tokyoにて「KaléidoscopeⅢ～誘惑のBlood」、ソロコンサート（全3公演）を予定。

Toshihiko Takamizawa is a member of the legendary rock group THE ALFEE and a successful solo artist. He has composed for famous artists and regularly hosts various programs on television and radio. Additionally, he has published a photo book called "Boku no Ume he~, Shiroi Iruka no Beluga" (photos by Kouji Kurota; text by Takamizawa) and the autobiographical essay compilation, "Akiramenai Yume ha Owaranai." Takamizawa has collaborated with many artists in a variety of genres, appearing not only on their releases, but participating in their concerts as well.

On November 30, 2005, THE ALFEE celebrated their 2,000th concert with a performance at Omiya Sonic City Hall. In May 2009, THE ALFEE reached the Oricon Top 10 for the 42nd consecutive time with their 57th single, "Sakura no Mi wo Juku suru Toki."

This year, THE ALFEE embarked upon the 35th Anniversary 2009 CONFIDENCE tour with a total of 31 performances. The tour began on April 9, 2009 at Kawaguchi City Lilian Main Hall and ended it on June 28th at Nagoya Century Hall.

Takamizawa continues his solo work in 2009. On August 12th, he will release the single "Vampire~Yuuwaku no Blood~," followed by the tour Kaleidoscope III ~Yuuwaku no Blood~ with concerts on September 5th and 6th at Shibuya CC Lemon Hall and September 13th at Zepp Tokyo.
